Grejsdalsstien følger Grejs Å til lidt nord Hørup Bro, og derfra følger den Hørup Bæk og senere småveje ind til Jelling – bortset fra 680 m, hvor man skal vandre i kanten af den gennemgående omfartsvej, Mangehøje, nord om Jelling. En sti langs vejen kunne hindre denne trælse oplevelse på en ellers flot rute.
